"Beautiful Things Don't Ask For Attention"

I cannot tell you how much in love i am with this movie titled "Secret Life Of Walter Mitty". It is pure inspiring for me, personally. I am a picky person regarding movies and you can ask my boyfriend about it and this movie is like, on top of my all-time favourite movie. Haha. Actually, he introduced me to the movie at first, implored me to watch it (because he likes Ben Stiller) but i just gave him a "okay okay i will but never watch" response (because i don't really like Ben Stiller haha) I swearrr i didn't know it was about life and photography (40% light comedy only!). Boyfriend didn't really explain in detail to me about the storyline and all, he just kept saying "poor Ben Stiller, poor Ben Stiller" but skipped Sean O'Connell the photographer. Tsk.

The choice of soundtracks, AWESOME. Jose Gonzalez - Step Out is definitely my favourite out of the bunch. It's kinda a heavy song but the drumbeats definitely make my heart beats faster and inspires me to step outside and live.my.life.

Apparently, this AHMAZING photo below here is a true photo captured by Marcus Bleasdale that inspires Mitty to take that leap of faith and travelled (LITERALLY) around the world looking for Sean O'Connell for that "missing" negative 25.

And you know what makes me even more in love with this movie? The quote from Sean O'Connell -

Preach, bruh! This quote applied to me when i went to Bako National Park with my friends around June or July earlier, Oh such a beautiful place i must say! Back to this movie, i can swear i can  watch this movie over and over again simply because it is that awesome. Now, i don't see Ben Stiller as s comedian anymore, but a versatile actor for sure. :)

Tommy Boy Coffee at CityOne Kuching

As usual, Chen and I went out yesterday for a date. We wanted to watch Robocop but, there were so many people queueing up at ticketing parlour hence we cancelled our plan and roamed around CityOne. I notice one thing about the megamall, it provides a hell lot of snack bars. Each level has at least 4 snack bars and that mall has 4 levels overall. There's this snack bar called Taiwan Mi if I'm not mistaken that really intrigues me with their decors, so pretty and quite elegant for a snack bar I must say.

But Taiwan snack bar aside,  we went to Tommy Boy for our coffee break / tea time. It's a small bar with a small sitting place for people to rest and enjoying their coffee but to me, it's perfect. Very cosy and very comfortable. 

I ordered Raspberry smoothie and it tasted okay, a little bit tooo icy for a smoothie in my opinion but I paid RM6.90 for it so okay lah I guess? Lol. Chen had Alaskan Coffee - RM6.90 as well and it's really nice. It's a coffee mixed with chocolate, too dense and thick in consistency and not suitable for elders I reckon, but I'm sure teens and kids would love it.

This post is about Tommy Boy isn't it but I didn't took photos of the environment / ambience because I was too happy giggling and laughing and joking with me love Chen. Sorry! But I can assure you the ambience is very cool, not too loud, a perfect place for catching up with friends, but do I want to go back there again? UHM WELL, I STILL PREFER STARBUCKS OR BING. :D

We went to St. Joseph's Cathedral for sunset mass last Saturday, it's been awhile since I set foot on that church. The last time, perhaps when I was in St. Joseph's school, about 7 YEARS AGO! D:

Happy New Year, people! 

2013 had been a rollercoaster ride for me, not all days and months were rainbows and thunders and therefore, I'm really glad that for all the lessons that I've been taught by life. It matured me up, for sure. Im  grateful that I survived 2013, safe and sound with my loved ones;  family, friends and my boyfriend, Cecen.

Now, as of today, January 1st, I'll try to be a better person in life, perhaps gonna involve myself in charities? Love people more, NO hatred, and of course, gonna be the most awesomest girlfiriend to dear Cecen, time to GROW UP AND DITCH THE PRINCESS ATTITUDE. Lol. Time to level up and be a QUEEN, yea? :D

Just like another typical girl in this world, I can't escape of buying new clothes and ended up having wayyy too much of them and honestly, most of the clothes that I bought, I haven't even wear them yet since 2012, still in excellent condition and some even still has a tag attached! :/ hence I decided to make a new blog to sell off some of my clothes. Little by little tho because I've this sort of obsesssive /emotional attachments with everything that's mine lol.

✎ The Heirs.

I reckon every Korean drama lovers in this world already know the drama that I am about to write, The Heirs, people! and me, myself and I included as well. Haha. So, this post isn't about review or anything, something for fun only, I took a long hiatus from K dramas since You Are The Best, Lee Soon Shin. I totally love Kim Tan in this drama, he's so charming! I mean, he's Lee Min Ho, people. Oh my word, he's perfect! :D 

and as for female cast, I really like Rachel Yoo played by Kim Ji Won. Mainly because i adore her sense of style, very pretty and she's a bitch. Haha. 

She's cute, isn't she? Love her hair, her face, her make up, her clothes, basically I love everything about Rachel Yoo! Ah how I wish I have her closet!~

✎ Lunch at Colugos Bistro & Grill

I went out with Shela last Monday, it's been awhile because everyone is so damn busy with studies and work, it was a coincidence too that Shela had class at night, so perfect timing! 

To kill the time till lunch hour, we went to MBO Cineplex, and what movie did we watched? Oh Thor for sure, Loki for the win! because of his witty and sarcastic to the core attitude, and he's quite charming too if he isn't in that weird over the top with green cape costume lol.

As usual, we had a hard time deciding on where to eat #girlproblems and Shela randomly said  " Mok try kat Colugos sik? " and I never been there before so why not isn't it. When Chen comes back to Kuching this Christmas, I could bring him there for our dinner date etc since I already knew and familiar with the dining place. So let me tell you this, personally I think Colugos is a fancy restaurant with very pretty and elegant decors but to my surprise, the food prices are cheap! RM 25 per person including drinks with no tax whatsoever. It's a Western / Indonesian cuisine restaurant so, asian cuisines are definitely cheaper, prices are from RM8 while western cuisines are from RM 13.90.

I bet the waiter that serves us must be an inch close to losing his patience because we definitely took our time flipping through the menu for almost 20 minutes I reckon? LOL. We were both in a dilemma, either wanna go for western or asian foods and finally we decided to go with rice! :D

My dish was delicious, the gravy was not watery and not too creamy either, just nice and I totally recommend the dish to people. Next time I'll be trying out their western cuisine; Fish and Chip because based on reviews I've read, most people love their Fish and Chip. Gotta try that soon! Overall, it's a great place to chill with good foods, and it's located in the heart of Kuching town; Tun Jugah Mall.

Christmas is coming real soon and I can't help but feeling excited because mi boyfriend will be coming home, on the 20th December. Whee. I have a feeling that this year's Christmas will be the best one, surrounded by my loved one, friends and families, it just couldn't get any better. :) As a girl, and an online shopaholic, I am already on dress hunting, I found one that I like, a white 3/4 sleeve lace skater dress, which Chen gave his a valuable opinion of his regarding it " ya baruk Nicole Kidman " LOL, mi boyfriend is so funny and he has a good taste too. :D your feedback is very much appreciated, baby! 

So anyways, I heard a lot of nasty stuff about mi boyfriend, well particularly about shirts?  Haha. Yup, SHIRTS. We both ( Chen and I ) had a good laugh about it. Seriously funny. 

Now now, a cup of hot tea accompanied with soft warm butter buns would be perfect at this cold chilly night. Toodles!

✎ Maybelline Red Porcelain Lipstick Review

It's been AGES since I last wrote lippie reviews so here I am now, finally have the time to log into my Blog account and write, like I used to. Sepetember is definitely a month of Red for me, I bought a new pair of shoes in red and a bikini top from Cotton On, a new red dress from an online boutique. Ah red~ Now I'm talking about Maybelline's Porcelain Red lipstick, although it's sold in the market for quite a long time now but I still wanna make a review of it, better late than never, aight?

The Casing; Nothing to shout about actually but uhm, i do like the red transparent cover tho. Made of plastic and again, basic lipstick casing. 

The code number. If you girls are keen to purchase, look for the code and the name correctly because there's another red shade from Color Sensational : Red Revival, which is a pretty red shade too but Red Porcelain captivated my heart, first.

Imagine 1920's -1930's pin up girl, if you want to have their lips, this is the lipstick you should go for. Perfect!

Hand swatch, first swipe. But I usually glide around two or three times because I want my lips to look exactly like the pin up girls, and Taylor Swift lips too. :D

Hello! Here's the result, you like? Well, I likey for sure, LOVE actually. It's time for me to get out from my comfort zone ( I always prefer soft pink / pastel / soft colours over bold colours if in make ups ) and I can't deny the fact that I was influenced by Taylor's style too, she rocked the vintage style flawlessly and I definitely look up to her in fashion sense. Demure with a little hint of sexiness at the same time, what's not to love? 

I purchased this lipstick for RM23.90 as it was on sale at that time, normal price is RM29.90 but i think it is depending with the beauty stores on pricing it. I got mine at Watsons, every beauty departments across the nation definitely lining this up on Maybelline's beauty rack so go get one! I heard this lipstick is limited edition so another factor to own it.

If you are a red lippie virgin, i suggest you should watch tutorial first and learn how to use it step by step. Don't simply glide it straight on your lips because you will create a mess and desire result will never be achieve. Remember to scrub your lips first and moisturise because girl, a cracked red lips are never attractive.

✎ Epic Din Din at The Junk

So, the last post I wrote in this blog of mine was on the 31st of August. Whoa, that long eh. Well, Chen went  back to Penang on the 13th of September hence the zero updates. So, we went to The Junk after our movie date, at first I wanted to go to Bella Italia because it's nearer to CityOne but Chen insisted that we should head to Junk instead so Junk we went! 

We watched The Purge that night, awesome movie with loads of gore scenes. NICE mmhmm.

Our super delicious foods! Staggio something Pizza for the girlfriend and Organic Chicken Herb for the boyfriend. The chicken was delicious! No kidding!

Watermelon juice for him  and hot Green Tea for me, as usual. I have an obsession with Green Tea, I wish i could plant my own green tea tree at the backyard! 

Truly aromatic and very soothing.

Thank you baby for the awesome night! Although certain people would say " Oh, that's like another normal date " but to me every date with him is special. We seldom meet up because we are currently in a long distance relationship, so it does feel different when we go out on a date. If you're in my place, then you'll know what I mean about feeling different. 

Before I forgot, here i upload the total bill of the night, spent at the restaurant alone. Haha.
